Diasporans for PDP Warns Members and Public about a Fake Entity Claiming to have Connection with our Organization
As we prepare for our second Civic Engagement Series and PDP Diaspora Summit on October 29th, it has been brought to the knowledge of Diasporans for PDP leadership that some clandestine and infringed groups of unknown persons on social media, claiming to be PDP USA, have been spreading false information against our organization, founder and national chair, and the upcoming event. The social media group claims to be working with/for one Dr. Harold Molokwu, who is out of touch with reality in PDP and who himself claims to be former or current chairman of the so-called PDP USA that currently has no legitimate operation in the United States.
By this message, we warn our members and the public that we have no business with any such organization.
The October 29th summit in Houston is the second edition of our Civic Engagement Series. Admission to this event is completely free of charge. We are not organizing this event in partnership with any other organization anywhere in the world, including Nigeria and the United States. Please do not send money to any organization that may claim to be partnering with Diasporans for PDP for this event. Beware of any organisation that claims to be PDP USA. We have no connection with any such organisation.
The Diasporans for PDP upcoming summit in Houston, Texas, will be held at Hilton Houston Westchase, 9999 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas, USA, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th, 2022.
It is an opportunity for our members and the public to hear directly from PDP leaders on how our great party will make a difference, strengthen democracy and rule of law, and ensure a good livelihood for all Nigerians. The town-hall event provides an opportunity to answer questions about how Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s 5-point agenda and that of our party will be different from the past eight years of APC incompetence and mismanagement.
This event will provide a great opportunity for Diasporans for PDP to officially endorse His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abukabar, GCON, for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It will be the official launch of our voter-education campaign as we work hard to ensure victory for PDP candidates in the 2023 elections.
Diasporans for PDP is a United States-based and registered non-governmental organization with membership including but not limited to Austria, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom and the United States of America. We are not a branch of any other organization anywhere in the world. We are lovers and members of the PDP, united by our desire to help PDP succeed in elections in Nigeria.
