Those who measure professional success by wealth will certainly not understand why Senator Mao Ohuabunwa’s name has become an endorsement of value, but those who know about his inspiring personality and commitment to professionalism and relationships are all in agreement that he remains one of the most resourceful politicians of our time, who has been focused on becoming a man of value rather than a man of wealth and his journey to politics begins in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he was born though a native of Atani, Arochukwu in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State. He had his early education at Oro Evo School and Enitona High School in Port Harcourt.
Rt. Hon. Engr. Alphonsus Gerald Irona, a Chemical Engineer by training, was born to the family of Irona, Okorua of Umuoyata village, Oguta and Nwayiafor Irona (nne) Uneanya, on August 1st, 1966.
As a young man of promise caught out for greatness, Hon. Irona Alphonsus Gerald ventured into politics and during this early period was elected a two term Councilor representing Oguta Ward A in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Later in 1998, he became the youngest State Secretary of All Peoples party (APP), which later became all Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).
SAMUEL ONUIGBO is a member of the Federal House of Representatives of Nigeria, representing Ikwuano/Umuahaia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency. He hails from Umuahia, in Abia State of Nigeria. Samuel was born
in the year 1960.
Dr Okezie Victor Chibuike Ikpeazu is the Executive Governor Of Abia State in South East Nigeria. He succeeded Chief T A Orji as Governor on the 29th of May 2015 after defeating three major opponents: Alex Otti (APGA) Chikwe Udensi (PPA) and Anyim Nyerere (APC) after the governorship polls conducted on April 11th and 25th 2015.

Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON, KSC, is by different definitions, a self-made man, who has painstakingly but steadily risen through the ranks of his chosen career to meritoriously become the Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives. He is indeed one of the few Nigerians, living or dead, who has been returned to the House to represent his people for a record three times.
Chima Anyaso is a native of Igbere in Bende, Abia State, Nigeria and was born in Aba Abia State, where he spent his formative years. He is an alumnus of Ebonyi State University, from where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literature in 2003. After graduation, he worked variously at Elmline Nig Ltd., South Globe Ltd., Traqui Ltd., and Geo Bureau de Change, where he picked up valuable experience and in the process, made considerable positive impression on peers and employers alike. His stint at Aquitane Oil and Gas Ltd was particularly significant in establishing his reputation as an upwardly mobile young man of the oil sector.
Theodore Ahamefule Orji was born in Amaokwe Ugba, Umuahia – Ibeku in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State in 1950. He attended Santa Crux Secondary School, Olokoro, Holy Ghost College, Owerri and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Ibadan in 1977. He enlisted for the National Youths Corps Scheme on graduation and was deployed to Sokoto State as a teacher at Government Secondary School, Shinkafi, Isa Local Government Area.
Abiodun Christine Olujimi (born 25 December 1958) is a Nigerian politician. She is a senator of the Federal Republic Nigeria representing Ekiti South constituency and deputy minority whip. She is known for her courage in politics, grass root governance and her contributions in the Nigerian Telecommunication industry where she was a board member of Nigerian Communications Commission.
Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe (born March 1, 1955) is a Nigerian politician who was elected to the Abia-South Senatorial District of Abia State in the Senate of Nigeria in April 2007. He holds the title Nwadiohanma Ngwa.
Peter Obi (born 19 July 1961) is a Nigerian politician and former governor of Anambra State serving from 17 March 2006 to 2 November 2006, when he was impeached and from 9 February 2007 to 29 May 2007 after his impeachment was overturned. Although a fresh election was held on 29 April 2007, he was reappointed governor on 14 June 2007 after a court ruling that he should be allowed to complete a four-year term. He won a 6 February 2010 election for a second term as governor.
Abubakar Bukola Saraki was born in 1962 to the family of former Senate Leader Olusola Saraki and Florence Saraki, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki is a medical doctor and Nigerian politician.
Dr Bukola Saraki attended King’s College, Lagos from 1973 to 1978 and then Cheltenham College in the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1981. Dr Saraki obtained his M.B.B.S (London) from the London Hospital Medical College of the University of London from 1982 to 1987.
Dr. Cosmos Ndukwe is from Akanu Item, Bende LGA of Abia State. A journalist, public administrator and consummate charity worker; Cosmos has distinguished himself as a grand defender of justice. He cut his academic teeth at Aba from where he moved to acquire a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mass Communications, Master of Arts (MA) degree and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Broadcasting from Abia State University Uturu.
Atiku Abubakar GCON (born 25 November 1946) is a Nigerian politician and business tycoon. He served as the 11th vice-president of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 under the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. He is a member of People's Democratic Party. In 1998 he was elected Governor of Adamawa State. While still Governor-Elect, he was selected by then presidential candidate Olusegun Obasanjo as his running mate.
